Lake Keowee Real Estate

If you haven't heard this great story yet, I'm going to spoil it for you: of the approximately 2400 Cliffs Communities members, 629 stood together and have raised $62 million so far for their developer.  This is still short of the $100 million originally requested back in February; but appears to be enough, by the deadline, to get the ball rolling in finishing the planned amenities--thus saving all of the Cliffs Communities from the distinct possibility of Jim Anthony, the Communities' original developer and brain trust, being forced to find "alternative financing". Those last two scary words may very well have resulted in the fragmentation of the all-inclusive $150,000 membership and the whole Cliffs Communities situation being much different. We're talking oceans boiling; cats and dogs living together...mass hysteria!  

But now, it would appear that all of the different communities' amenities will be completed. They include the golf course at Mountain Park, the clubhouse at the Cliffs at Keowee Springs and the Tiger Woods designed course High Carolina in Ashville, NC, not to mention the state of the art fitness facilities as well as other highly desirable features. 

While that is great news, the nagging question remains: "When will sales pick up again"? We believe this infusion of cash into the three Cliffs Communities located on Lake Keowee will also increase their advertising dollars creating more awareness to more willing buyers for all types of lake homes and properties (a smaller advertising budget for the Cliffs directly influences ALL Lake Keowee property sales). More buyers equals more sales in all categories.  So the answer to the $64,000, or should I say $62 million question is: Today/Tomorrow/This Week/Soon! Don't miss out!
