What with all the advancements in today's technology with its fail-safes, contingency plans, back-up measures and imbedded incident prevention systems, you'd think the guys on Wall Street would have looked into implementing a little something like a warning message that might alert a trader that he could be making a MULTI-THOUSAND MILLION DOLLAR ERROR! Come on, I can't even delete an old picture from my cell phone without it asking me 13 times if I'm really really sure I want to delete it. It seems like they'd already have in place a system that would have set off flashing lights and buzzers and a robot voice shouting "Danger! Danger! Will Robinson!" The guy who inadvertently made that $16 billion (that's Billion) trade is undoubtedly now searching for work as an organ grinder's monkey or perhaps a spittoon cleaner in Little Italy. Or is he currently serving time at Rikers Island hoping to marry the guy with most cigarettes?
Regardless of his bleak outlook, ours here at Lake Keowee is much brighter. Although this miniscule glitch sent shock waves across the globe and we suspect this will scare some folks away from getting back into the real estate market sooner, we're confident that the damage done will be minimal and far from permanent.
